NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the above Order made on 2 February 2022, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport been continued in force and will so continue until 6 February 2023 or until the works have been completed whichever is the earlier.
The effect of the Order is to continue temporarily prohibiting any person from proceeding on foot or on horseback or lead a horse or cycle, except for access, in that length of Public Bridleway No. 47, Wendover, located off Hale Lane, for a distance of approximately 500 metres.
The closure is required whilst surface repair works are ongoing to make the Bridleway surface safe and accessible.
The alternative route whilst the closure is effective is via the existing public highway network.
