From 00:55am on Saturday 16th April we will be taking full possession of the Chiltern Rail line until 04:15 on Monday 18th April, during this time we will be working 24 hours a day to start the installation of our conveyor system over the rail line. While this works are being undertaken the rail line will be fully closed with no services running in either direction, you should contact the train operator for details of rail replacement bus services.
Over the following weeks there will be further overnight works on the Chiltern Rail line for the conveyor installation however, works will take place after the last service has gone through and before the first train the following morning so the train operations will not be affected.
As the overnight works only involve a crane lifting the bridge into position and the conveyor being installed there should be no noise disturbance. In May we are expecting the work to take place to install a conveyor bridge over the A413 London Road, details on these works will be disseminated in due course.
