HS2 will be holding a local drop-in event on Thursday 17 July 2025, between 11am and 2pm at Ashbrook Park, Aylesbury Road, Wendover (HP22 6LX). This is your opportunity to speak directly with the HS2 team, ask questions, and raise any concerns about ongoing works in the area.
One key issue is the upcoming closure of Nash Lee Road from Wednesday 23 July to Monday 18 August. The closure - to allow for the installation of a groundwater control wall - will affect local traffic, with a signposted diversion route in place via Stoke Mandeville.
While the works are necessary, the disruption is expected to be significant - especially for those who use this route regularly. If you’d like to discuss the impact of this closure or get updates on other works (like those on the A413 London Road or A4010 Risborough Road), the drop-in is the best chance to do so in person.
You can also find out how HS2 might support local community projects.
