| Wendover is situated in the Metropolitan Green Belt and Chilterns Area
of Outstanding Natural Beauty, lying at the foot of the Chilterns - a
well known tourist area. The parish lies in the administrative area of
Aylesbury Vale within the County of Buckinghamshire. The Parish Council
represents over 5000 electors and has a population of 8,500 according to
the 2001 census return.
