Car Parking and Community Room

Wendover Parish Council has withdrawn its support from the contentious project to provide car-parking and community rooms at the Witchell.
The new council feels that the demand for parking and community space can be resolved in other ways. Working groups made up of councillors and co-opted members of the public are exploring a number of options to meet these particular needs without reducing amenity areas within the village.

HS2

Wendover Parish Council is opposed to any HS2 route which would be detrimental to the community of Wendover. The council's Consultation Response document has been completed and it robustly rejects the government's case for HS2.

Planning for Wendover's Future

The Vale of Aylesbury Plan
Localism is coming to Wendover and Aylesbury Vale. The first area it touches is the very important one of Planning. In future local people will have a greater role in influencing the strategy and outcomes of the planning process. Aylesbury Vale District Council (AVDC) is the planning authority for Wendover and a Questionnaire has been delivered to homes in Wendover. This stage of consultation is now over and the results will be used to inform the work of both councils as they formulate policy.

The Parish Council's response to the Vale of Aylesbury Plan (VAP) is now available:
