Responsible Dog Ownership

As of late there has been an increase in complaints and incidents regarding dog fouling. On the 27th February, the Deputy and Assistant Clerk walked down the first 100 metres of Heron Path and counted 22 incidents of dog fouling!

No one should have to put up with the actions of irresponsible dog owners. Dog mess is a health hazard and can be particularly horrid for those playing sports, using the fitness trails and our team of grounds men when they strim the grass. Offenders can be issued with a fixed penalty notice or a fine of up to £1000!
