The Council have decided to change the date of the Christmas Celebration Event to a Saturday this year in association with Small Business Saturday UK | Another year making a Big Difference!

The Christmas event working group and the Amenities Committee have decided to adopt a Family Friendly Policy for the Christmas Light Switch On where alcohol with low ABV (alcohol by volume) like mulled wine for consumption can be sold as part of a stall selling gifts etc, however a bar or vendor selling alcohol solely for consumption at the event will not be allowed.

Hot refreshments will be available from Coffee Stop, Cheesy Grahams, Salt Kitchen & Daddy Donuts.

 

Christmas Market Stalls

This year we have stalls selling candles, jewellery, Christmas cards, chilli oils and jams, homemade cakes and more!

 

Santas Grotto

Location: Dobbins lane end of the Manor Waste. Bring along £2 to receive a present from Santa!

 

Bucks Bear!

Our special guest, Bucks Bear, will be spreading holiday cheer, and Bucks Radio will be hosting the event!

 

Parking

Free parking at Wendover’s Chiltern Railways Station car park from 4pm. We recommend parking there to ease traffic in and out of the event.

5.20pm Chair Julie William’s speech, and Bucks Radio will announce prize winners.

5.30pm Light Switch On – Winners of Christmas Tree Decoration will turn on lights

5.30pm – 6pm Wendover Singers Children’s Choir

6pm – 6.30pm Wendover Singers Adult Choir

7pm Event closes
