The Memory Support Service team at Alzheimer’s Society are still here for people affected by dementia as well as people who are concerned about their memories. Although we are unable to take referrals for Memory Screening Assessments or support visits in peoples home we are still supporting people over the phone, by Skype and email. The team of Memory Support Workers are working hard to deliver guidance and information to people who need support relating to dementia and memory loss. We are able to give advice regarding coronavirus and tips if dementia makes it difficult to follow NHS or government advice. We can also signpost to other reliable sources for shopping, picking up prescriptions, etc.
