Hampden Pond Update
Wendover Parish council are pleased to confirm the commencement of due diligence activities for the development of the pond into an area where families can meet for picnics, and enjoy the natural environment we endeavour to create, to support wildlife and aquatic plants. WPC envisage a substantive path suitable for the disabled, areas with picnic tables, additional trees to replace those in trauma, and aquatic plants to entice a greater variety of wildlife to the pond. A borehole will also be investigated to maintain a suitable water level, so that fish stock and angling can be reintroduced. It is early days and we have a three-year plan to achieve these goals. The community will be engaged throughout the project to ensure we deliver an area which is practical, appealing, and somewhere Wendover residents can enjoy and be proud of!
Please note the pond is now open but fishing is not currently permitted.
It’s good to see a clear update on Hampden Pond and the work being done to address the issues around it. Keeping residents informed about maintenance, progress, and any changes to local facilities helps build trust and makes it easier for the community to stay involved. Hopefully the improvements will provide a better environment for everyone who uses and enjoys the area. After following local updates, a quick break with a Vice City browser game can be a nice way to unwind.

I close the right door just in time as Chica tries to enter my office. Now my power is critically low and I cannot keep both doors closed forever. FNAF Freddy Game makes me feel the weight of every single decision.
It’s great to see the council investing in a space that will benefit both local wildlife and families for years to come. In my free time I like unwinding with Subway Surfers Online and it’s a fun little game to relax with after reading positive community updates like this.
