Buckinghamshire Council is currently preparing a Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP), to be published later in the year. The BSIP will outline the ambitions of both the Council and local bus operators on how bus services can be improved in order to attract more passengers and reduce local car journeys. This in turn will help to inform the formation of an Enhanced Partnership between the Council and bus operators in 2022.
As you may already be aware, Buckinghamshire Council is undertaking a survey with both bus users and the wider community to determine which measures for improving bus services to prioritise. Please take the survey on behalf of your councils to ensure that your priorities are reflected in the BSIP when this is published in October 2021. Please be aware that this survey closes on 3 September 2021.
