From May HS2 have two road closures in Wendover which need to be implemented to carry out their works. The work will include;
• Demolition works on Ellesborough Road – we will be carrying out works along Ellesborough Road and demolishing six buildings. For the safety of the public and our staff, Ellesborough Road will be fully closed, 8.00am to 6.00pm, from Monday 13 June to Wednesday 15 June 2022, with a diversion in place. Overnight on these days, there will be a lane closure with two-way traffic lights from 6.00pm to 8.00am.
• Hampden Pond CCTV survey – will be closed from Monday 30 May and Tuesday 31 May between 9am and 3pm, a signed diversion will be in place. This is to undertake a CCTV survey on the drainage into the Hampden Pond
