A message from EKFB: Please find attached an advanced works notice advising of a full closure of Ellesborough Road in February and March, the road will be closed for 24 hours a day during these works.
On Tuesday 14th February, Ellesborough Road will be full closed for a single day for carriageway survey works and then again between 20th February and 12th March to undertake extensive trial hole work prior to the completion of the Ellesborough Road temporary realignment. As the works require us to have an open excavation in the road and due to the narrow width of the road we can only undertake these works under a full closure. A pedestrian walking route will be maintained through the works as will resident access. Further details are contained in the attached document.
There will be further road and lane closures in the area through February and March, more information will be provided in due course once the planning of these works have been completed.
