Having a New Year clear out? Community Engagement is one of our main focuses at Wendover Parish Council. We have recently had a couple of meetings at Chiltern Way Academy and we are hopeful that we may be able to offer a work experience placement next year. All the staff at Wendover Parish Council had a tour of the school and witnessed the fantastic facilities on offer to the students.
During one of the tours, our Senior Groundsman came up with an up-cycling project idea. We are therefore reaching out to the community to see if anyone has any old items of furniture that they could donate to this project? They would have to be small items, such as an old chair or bedside table as we would come and collect using a small trailer. If you have an item of furniture to donate please send us a photo, so we can assess the size and then hopefully pop along and collect to deliver to the school!
