Have Your Say on the Buckinghamshire Local Plan

Buckinghamshire Council is preparing a new Local Plan that will guide development across the county for the next 20 years. The plan includes provision for 95,000 new homes and will shape where development takes place, what supporting infrastructure is required, and how communities grow over time.

What does this mean for Wendover?

Wendover lies within the Chilterns National Landscape, which provides important landscape protections. However, development proposed in surrounding areas could still have a direct impact on our village and its services.

Growth elsewhere in Buckinghamshire may affect:

• Traffic levels and pressure on local roads

• Demand for school places

• Capacity at GP surgeries and healthcare services

• Parking and other essential infrastructure

Planning decisions made now will influence how our area functions and feels for decades to come.
