A message from Buckinghamshire Highways:
Dear resident,
We are writing to inform you that Buckinghamshire Highways will be carrying out plane and patch carriageway surfacing works along Aylesbury Road in two sections. Section One - Aylesbury Road/Halton Lane roundabout and its approaches for 30m. Section two - Aylesbury Road/Wharf Road Roundabout, its approaches for 30m and the repairs to a failed utility trench outside no. 28 Aylesbury Road. "The Road Closure extents may extend beyond the work extents".
The works are programmed to take place from Wednesday 14th June, and it is anticipated the carriageway surfacing work will take approximately two days to complete. The work will be carried out using a road closure, in operation Monday to Friday between 7.30pm and 6.30am.
Information signs will be erected on site prior to the commencement of the works, giving actual dates and durations. You will appreciate the works of this nature are extremely weather dependant and therefore may be subject to disruption due to adverse weather. If the works are delayed, the advanced information signs on site will be updated to reflect any changes.
Every effort will be made to maintain access for residents, although there may be times when it is not safe to do so, and we apologise for any inconvenience. It is vital that vehicles are not parked on the road and/or footways as this will prevent the works from being completed.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
