APM & Community Awards

Residents are invited to attend the Wendover Annual Parish Meeting and Community Awards on Thursday 16 April at Wendover Community Library.

This annual event is an opportunity to hear about the work of Wendover Parish Council over the past year, celebrate the achievements of individuals and organisations in our community, and learn more about the many groups and activities that make Wendover such a vibrant place to live.

Community Showcase (6–7pm)

The evening will begin with a Community Showcase from 6pm to 7pm.

This informal event brings together local groups, charities and organisations in one place, giving residents the chance to discover the wide range of activities, volunteering opportunities and support available in Wendover. It’s a great opportunity to meet the people behind local initiatives and find out how you can get involved in community life.

Wendover Business Networking Event (6-7pm)

Alongside the showcase, local businesses are invited to attend a networking event organised in partnership with Buckinghamshire Business First. This provides an opportunity for businesses to connect with other local organisations and strengthen links within the Wendover community.

Annual Parish Meeting and Community Awards (from 7.30pm)

The formal Annual Parish Meeting will begin at 7.30pm.

During the meeting, residents will hear updates from the Parish Council and presentations on key local matters. The evening will also include the presentation of the Wendover Community Awards, recognising individuals and groups who have made a positive contribution to the community.

Refreshments will be available.

All residents are welcome to attend.
