About
Join our Make Wendover Smile sunflower competition and watch your seeds grow into something amazing! Aimed at children but open to all residents, this exciting challenge invites you to plant, nurture and measure your sunflower over the summer. Will yours be the tallest in Wendover, or the most unusual? There are prizes to be won and plenty of fun along the way!
We're encouraging everyone to sow sunflower seeds between mid-April and the end of May, with flowers blooming from July through to September – and peaking in August.
