Residents in Wendover should be aware of a short but important lane closure taking place on Thursday, 4 December 2025, as HS2 contractors carry out safety-driven improvements on Rocky Lane.
Why the Closure Is Happening
A recent safety audit identified the need for an additional permanent road sign between Rocky Lane and Chesham Lane. To install this safely, HS2’s contractors (EKFB) will be carrying out on-site work with traffic management in place.
When and What to Expect
The closure will take place off-peak, minimising disruption for commuters and school traffic. Motorists can expect:
