I was born in Kirn, Argyllshire.
I went to school in The Hague, Holland.
I studied at Glasgow University, where I earned my BSc.
I worked in Scotland for Help The Aged.
Then, I worked at BP in Sullom Voe and for a UK organization in Community Affairs.
In England, specifically in Windsor and London, I was involved in recruitment for companies like Aramco, Statoil, and Texaco.
In 1985, I moved to the Netherlands, specifically Eindhoven, to focus on international recruitment, mainly in Europe.
I spent three years as the Director of a German subsidiary in Munich.
In 1999, I returned to the UK, settled in Aylesbury, and worked in international telecoms.
I lived in Weston Turville for about 20 years, often using the shops and facilities in Wendover.
In 2003, I did recruitment for various London-based firms.
In 2011, I started my own limited company for international recruitment, working from home.
In 2024, I retired and closed the company.
In 2024, I moved to Wendover.
