A National Moment of Unity

At 9.30pm, we will join over a thousand beacon lightings and hundreds of Lamp Lights of Peace across the United Kingdom, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. These flames symbolise the ‘light of peace’ that emerged from the darkness of war.

As part of this collective moment, communities across the nation will also unite in song, standing side by side in gratitude, singing the iconic hymn “I Vow to Thee My Country” – a powerful tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

“Together, we honour the past and celebrate a future built on unity, hope, love and peace.”

We hope you’ll join us in Hampden Meadow as we take part in this national tribute.
