Vacancy for the position of Parish Clerk & RFO
Working from the Council office in Wendover’s Clock Tower, the Clerk & RFO will take overall responsibility for the Council’s operations as well as financial management.
Reporting to the Council as a corporate body, the successful candidate will lead a strong, committed team, in advising and guiding the Parish Council in its deliberations and implementing its decisions. They must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; the ability to understand and interpret local government law; possess skills in financial management; experience in line management; a willingness to learn and show a positive response to challenge and change.
Qualifications & experience in Town & Parish clerking, along with experience in office IT is essential, website updating & social media skills/experience are desirable.
37 hours per week (includes some evenings & weekends)
Salary: LC3 SCP 33-38 £37,568-£42,614 (based on experience & qualifications)
The successful candidate will already be CiLCA & FiLCA qualified.
