Your Parish Council is working hard to improve engagement with residents, organisation and businesses throughout Wendover. A prime reason is to promote who we are and more importantly what we can do for everyone within the locality; this becomes more of a focus with the advent of the Unitary Council on the 1st April next year.

We are also keen to encourage residents to join our Working Groups. Those of you with specialist skills will be particularly welcome to provide qualified opinion and direction on projects which will benefit the Wendover community. The next step would be to become a councillor where you will be part of a team of individuals listening to the needs of residents, developing ideas for improving facilities and liaising with local organisations for numerous events throughout the year.

Is this something you might be interested in? Then please come along to our Clock Tower Open Day on Saturday 21st September from 10.00am to 01.00pm. The Clock Tower will be open to visitors of all ages with someone on hand to explain the history…there’s also free ice-creams! More importantly, we will provide an oversight of the Parish Council and how you may become involved. We are experiencing a period of change and we would like you to be part of it!
