Wild Flowers in Rope Walk Meadow

The first season after agreement at the Meeting of the Recreation Ground Committee ~ Minutes 7th August 2006 and reported in the Parish Newsletter 7th March 2007

A total of 22 varieties of flower and 4 types of grass have been sown. In 2007 poppies, corn flowers and scabious will predominate but look out in later years for fritillaries, cowslips and trefoil. The meadow will be mown in late July/early August and again in September.
