Wendover History Walk with Costumed Interpreters

On Mondays: 25th April, 13th June, 11th July, 8th August, & 19th September

1.30 - 5.00pm at St Mary's Church

The programme starts with an illustrated presentation on Wendover's History, in St Mary's Church, Church Lane, Wendover. During the presentation the character's names will be introduced in chronological order.

The presentation is then followed by a walk lasting about an hour. This walk is mainly level and about a mile in distance, with seven stops to meet the fictional Wendover Inhabitants in costume. (If the weather is very inclement the walk will take place in the church).

The group returns to the church, with the final character, where a delicious afternoon tea will be served, all freshly prepared and home baked.

Finally, there is time to look around our historic church which dates from the 14th Century, talk to the characters, view the static display on Wendover's History.

Cost £6.00 per person including refreshments
All Proceeds to St Mary's Church Wendover
