With a population of around seven thousand Wendover has good amenities, including a newly extended health centre, schools and pre-school groups to cater for all ages, three busy Churches that work together and a busy shopping and business community. The weekly market brings people in from outlying villages. There are numerous clubs and societies to cater for all tastes and a full list is available from the Clock Tower which is our Community and Tourist Information Office. There are many buildings of architectural interest and quiet recreational areas as well as a children's play area equipped with swings, slide, skate board base etc at the Ashbrook recreation ground along the Aylesbury Road. There is a good bus service into Aylesbury, the nearest large town.
