St Mary's Church in the parish of Wendover

The church stands on the southern edge of the built up part of Wendover within an easy walk of the High Street. The building we now see is mainly the product of Victorian restoration in 1842 but parts of the columns and arches date from the early 13th century. The list of incumbents is complete from 1221 showing something of the age and importance of the community.
