10b. Rothschild Bridge on Wendover Arm


Rothschild Bridge
This recently restored bridge takes the drive to the Rothschild Halton House across the Wendover Arm. The House was originally the country residence of Alfred Charles de Rothschild and is now Officers' mess for the RAF at Halton. Inherited by Lionel de Rothschild in 1918 who sold it to the RAF with some 3000 acres of parkland and woodland.
