Shoulder of Mutton

At the top of Pound Street near the bridge over the railway and new by-pass the Shoulder of Mutton is now a Public House and Restaurant. Originally an inn, the building is partly fronted in Georgian brick but a fragment of the early wattle and daub wall has been preserved dating from the early 1600's.
