Historic village of Wendover, tourist sites in a picture tour

Built as a market hall and lock-up in 1842, the Clock Tower extension was added later. After the lock-up and stocks were moved to the Manor Waste the horse drawn fire engine was housed here for many years. Any visitor would be well advised to start their tour of Wendover here as it is now the base for the Community and Tourist Information Office as well as the office for the Parish Council.
