MINUTES OF THE RECREATION GROUND COMMITTEE MEETING

held on 7 August 2006 at 8.55 pm in the Library Room

PRESENT: Cllr Worth (Chairman)

07/33 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

Apologies were received from Cllr Gridley. Cllr Mrs Myers was not present due to illness.

07/34 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
None were declared

07/35 WILD FLOWER MEADOW
The Chairman reported that two companies had agreed to quote on creating a wild flower meadow out of Rope Walk Meadow.

The Committee scrutinised the quotations and AGREED to award the contract.

07/35 MATTERS OF REPORT

a) The recent visit of the fair had caused concern to local residents due to the siting of their generators.

07/36 CLOSURE OF MEETING

There being no further business, the meeting closed at 9.15 pm.
