MINUTES OF THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT & TOURISM COMMITTEE MEETING

held in Wendover Library Room on 30 May 2007
starting at 8.30pm

The meeting was opened by Cllr Dr King as Chair of the Parish Council.

08/08 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE were received from Mr Stride and Miss Myers

08/09 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
None were declared.

08/10 ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN
Cllr Wilkinson nominated Cllr Mrs McKechnie as Chairman of the Property Management and Tourism Committee. Cllr Mrs McKechnie accepted the nomination. Cllr Ballantine seconded the nomination and Cllr Mrs McKechnie then took the Chair.

08/11 ELECTION OF VICE CHAIRMAN

Cllr Mrs McKechnie nominated Cllr Bowles as Vice Chairman of the Property Management and Tourism Committee. Cllr Bowles accepted the nomination. Cllr Dr King seconded the nomination.

08/12 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

No members of the public wished to speak

08/13 MINUTES OF THE MEETING held 17 April 2007
It was AGREED that the minutes were a true record and the Chairman

signed them. Proposed by Cllr Mrs Ballantine, seconded by Cllr Mrs Gregory

08/05 PLANTERS FOR THE MANOR WASTE
The Chairman presented the case for accepting the quotation from Plantscape for planters for the Manor Waste.

It was discussed how signage could be attached to the sides of the planters to make them more visibly attractive.

A vote was taken and carried in favour of purchasing the planters by four 'yes' and two 'with reservations'.

08/06 MATTERS OF REPORT
a) Cllr Bowles reported that he had received samples of alternative paving slabs for
the Manor Waste and would be chasing the suppliers for a price.

08/07 CLOSURE OF MEETING

There being no further business to be transacted, the Chairman closed the meeting at 7.10 pm.
