08/35 PLANNING APPLICATIONS

07/01925/APP
Detached garage to rear; 23 Castle Park Road
The Parish Council has no objections

07/01992/APP Part two storey, part single storey rear extension; 27 Water Meadow Way
The Parish Council has no objections, but noted that the new ridge line
was not subservient to the existing building.

07/02011/ALB
Two storey front and side extension and new pitched roof to existing
single storey side element; 48 Hale Road
The Parish Council opposed the application with the following comments,
"The proposed extension is perceived to be out of character with the

over front bay window; 5 Stanhope Close
The Parish Council opposed the application with the following comments,
"The proposal is perceived to be out of character with the neighbouring
properties, with excessive massing".

07/02140/APP
07/02141/ALB
Demolition of existing storage shed to rear and erection of replacement
building for form kitchen extension, new flat roof infill, gates and disabled
ramp to rear, external alterations, fenced bin store and extended parking

08/36 GROWTH AGENDA - Sustainability appraisal Report

Cllr Bowles spoke on the AVDC Preferred Option on the southern side of Aylesbury. To
date the Parish Council had conducted 2 meetings with Halton Parish Council, District
Councillors and the Wendover Society to discuss their responses. It was evident that
each group had similar concerns on the current proposals. Cllr Dr. King proposed to
challenge the interpretation of the data presented by AVDC and would be putting forward
evidence based responses, after having identified inconsistencies in the report.
Cllr Dr King asked that a sub-committee be formed to finalise a composite response.

08/37 MATTERS OF REPORT
a. Cars were still being sold from the car park at the End of the World. The Clerk was asked to inform the AVDC Enforcement Officer.
b. The proposed works to Brook House were discussed.
There were no further matters to report

08/38 CLOSURE OF MEETING
There being no further business, the Chairman closed the meeting at 8.05 pm.
