MINUTES OF THE FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING

08/16 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
None were received

08/17 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
None were declared

08/18 MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 4 June 2007
It was AGREED that the minutes were a true record of the meeting and they were signed by the Chairman.

08/19 RESPONSIBLE FINANCE OFFICER'S REPORT
The RFO presented her report.

08/20 APPROVAL FOR FINANCE REQUESTED BY COMMITTEE
a) Recreation Grounds
The request for funding an additional part time groundsman was considered.
b) Personnel
A request was made by the Personnel Committee that a member of staff help the Clerk with Parish Council business for five days a week and a new part time member of the CIO was recruited.
After considering both applications and the relevant financial implications, including the outline plans for bringing in more revenue, the Committee agreed to the recruitments.

08/21 RECONCILIATION AND CHEQUES FOR PAYMENT
The Chairman reported that he had inspected the invoices for payment against the cheques. Members considered the list. It was AGREED that they be signed as listed.

08/22 MATTERS OF REPORT
There were no matters to report

08/23 CLOSURE OF MEETING
There being no further business, the Chairman closed the meeting at 7.45 pm.
