08/86 SUSPEND STANDING ORDERS
The Chairman motioned for the Standing Orders to be suspended in respect of the early
start of the meeting.
08/87 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
Cllr Mrs Gregory sent her apologies
08/88 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
Cllr Mrs Gregory had declared a prejudicial interest in the subject to be discussed.
08/89 LEGAL ADVICE
The Chairman outlined to the members, the history of the land under question and the legal
position on the encroachment.
The Council had been advised that a solicitor should now be appointed, to provide expert legal advice.
The members voted and it was agreed to set aside an initial sum of £500, for legal expenses, that would be in addition to the £500 precepted for.
Cllr Mrs Ballantine abstained from voting and asked that this be recorded.
08/90 CLOSURE OF MEETING
There being no further business to be transacted, the Chairman closed the meeting at
6.00 pm.
